Business Description
The Beginning: In 1971 Henning Schulz got the opportunity to use a kind of table-top mini computer programmable in BASIC. It was at that time the concept beind Micro-Sys dawned (more background info on the MicroSys name). The primary focus shifted to writing professional software for companies that utilized personal computers. This work also included consulting and training of the diverse products.
Product Description
When the microcomputers began to surface he started out as a full time professional (as one of the very first in Denmark). In 1978 Micro-Sys became a registered company and in 1980 as an "ApS" (a Danish term for "private limited company"), both things in Denmark. The primary product was freelance development of specialized custom-made software for jobs where standard software was not available or did not full-fill the needs of the customers. Especially software for industrial process control ranging from CAD and MRP to software for controlling robots (through PCs and PLCs).
