Business Description
Vintela is a privately held company that provides enterprise-class solutions for integration and interoperability within mixed computing environments. In 2004, Vintela acquired Wedgetail Communications, an Australian company with technology that allows for Windows authentication from J2EE. Along with this acquisition, Vintela also benefited from the addition of an investment partner in Allen and Buckeridge, a venture capital firm with offices in Australia and Silicon Valley. Vintela is headquartered in a world-class facility located in the technology corridor south of Salt Lake City, Utah. Recently Vintela further solidified its relationship with Microsoft by entering into a number of commercial agreements to further integrate the two companies for providing cross-platform integration. In addition to these agreements, Microsoft has made a financial investment in Vintela, making it a minority stakeholder in the company.
Product Description
Vintela products are elements of an extensible integration framework known as the Vintela Integration Architecture, which addresses the challenges associated with interoperability and integration of mixed operating system environments. VIA allows organizations to leverage their existing investment in Microsoft products and technologies by adding the ability to integrate and manage Unix, Linux, and Java environments through Microsoft systems and interfaces.
