Business Description Archetype Auction Software, Inc. was founded in February 1997, with the vision of bringing cutting-edge auction management technology to the marketplace. At the time, fundraiser auctions were rising in popularity, but many organizations were still tracking all their information on paper, and the available software consisted mainly of aging DOS-based programs. Archetype Auction, our flagship product, was first released after two years of development. Its sophisticated design now incorporates more than 25 years of combined auction management experience, including 7 years of customer feedback from our previous, DOS-based system. Since the software's release in December 1997, Archetype has managed hundreds of successful auctions. Our customer base is primarily composed of schools, charities, clubs, and other nonprofits.
Product Description Archetype's goal is to be the best auction software available on the market. To meet this aim, we continually incorporate user feedback into our product, and strive to provide the best customer support anywhere. Based on our customer feedback, we appear to be doing this well. Archetype Auction Software is a member of the National Auctioneers Association. Although we are not auctioneers ourselves, we support the NAA's Code of Ethics and are guided by its principles.
